In the Summer of 2016 Rodney and Lillian Smoker, along with his family, moved to the Finger Lakes area from Lancaster County Pennsylvania.  Rodney was originally born in Dundee, NY but had left as a young kid back in the mid '80's.  After being with his parents and family as missionaries in Haiti for 20 years, Rodney moved to Lancaster, PA and there met Lillian,  settled down and started their family. 11 years later they sold their construction company in Lancaster and moved up with their 4 kids and began settling again. Now six kids and a growing construction company later, this place is totally home.

Our company is about meeting the needs of the Seneca Lake area, helping the people who have become our friends and neighbors with their homes and property. We love helping people put their roots down and a home is the best thing for that. 

 Over the past few years the company has grown, creating jobs and opportunity. With growth comes deepened relationships with employees, vendors, customers, and the broader community.  The goal of Vine Country Builders is simply this, to see the quality of life increase for both those within the company and those we get to call friends.
